British Sandwich Week 2023
This week it's British Sandwich Week - a week in which we celebrate the sandwich in all its glory.
In Ealing, we have so many amazing eateries but we've whittled down the list to three of our favourite sandwiches (we've allowed ourselves a little bit of creativity with the word 'sandwich')
At Wa Cafe try out the new Yakisoba Pan, a unique and tasty Japanese snack that combines the softness of bread with the savory flavors of yakisoba - a stir-fried noodle dish with vegetables.
Head to Pulp on St Mary's Road, home of the famed Scrollsant™️. From humble beginnings as a brioche scroll, transformed into a rolled croissant - stuffed baked and sugared daily. The scrollsant comes in an array of sweet and savoury flavours. If we're talking savoury, our favourite is chorizo and cheddar, although the spinach and cheddar follows closely behind.
Try the Countryside Sandwich at Farm W5 on Ealing Green. Containing chicken escallop, farmhouse roasted ham, Cheddar cheese, sun dried tomatoes, and lettuce, this dish is the perfect way to celebrate British Sandwich Week.
