Free.Her at Gunnersbury Park Museum

Gunnersbury Park Museum hosts Free.Her, a powerful pop-up exhibition by Polish-born, London-based artist and ethnographer Anna Jochymek. The exhibition shares deeply personal stories from Polish women connected to Hounslow, exploring themes of migration, identity and belonging. Originally presented outdoors as part of a national programme marking 80 years since the end of the Second World War, this moving exhibition offers a meaningful reflection on community and shared histories.

Venice Through Artists’ Eyes at Pitzhanger

Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery welcomes an evening of cultural conversation as Director Rebecca Lyons is joined by Dr Caroline Campbell, Director of the National Gallery of Ireland. Together, they trace artists’ and collectors’ long-standing fascination with Venice, from Renaissance explorations of colour and light to the spectacle of Carnival and the city’s continued relevance as a global centre for contemporary art and architecture.

Kew’s Orchid Festival Returns

One of winter’s most uplifting highlights returns as Kew Gardens celebrates 30 years of its much-loved Orchid Festival. This year’s spectacular display is inspired by China’s remarkable biodiversity, heritage and design traditions, transforming the Princess of Wales Conservatory with vibrant orchids, dramatic floral installations, lanterns and sculptural details. Visitors can also enjoy Orchids After Hours, offering the chance to explore the glasshouse after dark.

The Vertical Hour at The Questors Theatre

The Questors Theatre presents David Hare’s The Vertical Hour, a sharp, intellectually gripping play that remains as resonant today as when it was first written. Set over a tense 24 hours in the Shropshire hills, the story brings together a conflicted former war reporter, her partner and his reclusive father as they clash over politics, love and personal freedom. Expect passion, wit and powerful performances in this thought-provoking production.

The Plant Giveaway with Greenka

For a simple but joyful wellbeing boost, The Plant Giveaway returns this February half term. In partnership with independent Ealing Broadway plant store Greenka, this free event invites visitors of all ages to pick up a beautiful houseplant to take home. Uplifting, calming and mood-boosting, it’s a lovely reminder of how a little greenery can transform both our homes and how we feel.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar™ Trail at Osterley

Families can look forward to a magical outdoor adventure at Osterley Park and House with The Very Hungry Caterpillar™ Trail. Inspired by Eric Carle’s beloved children’s book, the trail invites little ones to wiggle through the gardens, spot hidden fruits and snacks, and learn about counting, days of the week and the life cycle of a butterfly. The experience ends with a colourful photo opportunity featuring giant butterfly wings – perfect for making springtime memories.
