In Good Company: Joe Murphy

Introducing Joe Murphy, founder of Core London Property Advisors, a visionary in the property industry with a passion for community and creativity. With over two decades of experience spanning various roles from sales negotiator to director of a multi-office estate agency network, Joe's journey epitomises dedication and innovation. His career trajectory, including the founding and expansion of award-winning agency Orchards of London, showcases his commitment to quality and client relationships.

Now, at Core London, Joe brings his wealth of experience, deep property knowledge, and a contemporary approach to property marketing. We spoke to Joe about his favourite things about living in Acton:

"I grew up in the Borough of Ealing. I lived in Southall until I was 18, then spent my early 20s living in different pockets of Northfields and Ealing Broadway. I moved to Acton 13 years ago, and I have been there ever since. There is a real sense of community in the area that I have grown to value more as I get older.

"Ealing is one of the greenest boroughs in London, with stunning architecture that varies around every corner, alongside tight-knit communities nestled in every pocket. Each one has a thriving hub of independent businesses.

"I absolutely relish indulging in a hearty Sunday roast, the winner for me is Poets on Churchfield Road.

"I'm in love with my neighbourhood in Acton. What makes it so special to me is the strong sense of community woven into its fabric. Strolling down Churchfield Road on sunny weekends with my family is an absolute joy. It’s a street lined with businesses and it just keeps getting better and better.

"I've just kicked off Core London Property Advisors, and diving back into estate agency work feels like coming home. Reconnecting with clients I've known for nearly two decades has been an absolute delight. What's got me really excited is the opportunity I see in the market for a truly independent estate agent—one that's all about that personal touch and community-first mindset. We're not just about selling properties; we're about building relationships and enriching our community. If you haven't already, I'd recommend checking out our social channels to catch a glimpse of the stories we're sharing about our vibrant neighbourhood."
