The Spring Issue of Ealing Living Has Arrived

As the days stretch longer and the first blush of magnolia and cherry blossom softens our streets, spring arrives in a swirl of renewal and possibility. Ealing truly comes to life at this time of year - bright mornings, birdsong in the parks and that unmistakable sense of a fresh start humming in the air.

Our Spring issue of Ealing Living celebrates that spirit of renewal. The beautiful front cover captures the season perfectly: a stunning image of Gunnersbury Park by Instagram photographer @citybybici, who cycles across London documenting her journeys and the city’s quieter, more picturesque corners.

Inside the magazine, we celebrate everything that’s blossoming locally. Our Spring at a Glance calendar is packed with events, exhibitions and activities to help you make the most of the season, while Just Landed highlights exciting new openings around Ealing.

We also shine a spotlight on inspiring local changemakers. In this issue, we meet Muriel of Mahaba Café and Marie-Louise Jugant of Ealing Mencap, two women whose work nurtures community and connection in the truest sense.

This month also includes a personal detour. Like many people, I’ve found myself tangled in the ever-growing world of supplements - so we’ve asked local experts to help us separate sunshine from snake oil.

Elsewhere in the magazine, you’ll find a love letter to Ealing Studios, celebrating the remarkable cinematic heritage right on our doorstep. Our interiors feature explores The Art of Subtle Theming, showing how thoughtful design touches can transform a space without overwhelming it.

Food lovers will also find plenty to tempt them. We head to Dickens Yard, now a vibrant dining hub, with reviews of YayakaPasta Remoli and Kova Patisserie. There’s more delicious inspiration from Layla’s Bistro and Tonkotsu, alongside irresistible Easter recipes from Marie-Clare Alphonso and Sophia Salloum.

You’ll also discover a special feature on the poetry popping up along Ealing’s high streets, bringing creativity and reflection into everyday spaces.

Finally, heartfelt thanks go to Leslie & Co, whose generous print funding helps make the magazine possible.

Here’s to lighter days, new beginnings and a spring filled with inspiration across Ealing.
