There’s something I love about the start of autumn. The change of season brings a renewed energy to Ealing, with new businesses launching, familiar favourites welcoming us back and plenty happening across the borough over the coming months.
And so, with autumn just around the corner, I’m delighted to share the Autumn 2026 issue of Ealing Living Magazine.

Celebrating the people and places of Ealing
As always, this issue is a celebration of the people, places, businesses and stories that make Ealing such a special place to live.
I’m particularly pleased to feature two wonderful charitable organisations doing important work in our community: West Ealing Community Grocery and The Store Cupboard in Hanwell.
Both are fantastic examples of local people coming together to support those around them, and I hope you’ll enjoy finding out more about the difference they’re making.
The Ealing sound that went global
One of the highlights of this issue is a very special piece of Ealing history: Marshall: The Ealing Sound That Went Global.
From a small music shop on Uxbridge Road to the biggest stages in the world, Marshall’s story began in Hanwell. More than six decades later, its West London roots remain at the heart of one of Britain’s most recognisable music brands.
It’s a brilliant reminder of just how many incredible stories are woven into Ealing’s history.
An autumn reset
As we head into a new season, we’ve also got plenty of inspiration for an autumn reset.
Our beauty and skincare pages explore some seasonal essentials, including why you shouldn’t forget your décolletage, while our beautiful Heritage Revival feature looks at how to bring character and history into our homes.
Why We Love The Avenue
Our latest Why We Love feature takes a closer look at The Avenue and uncovers some fascinating stories from its past.
Did you know that a young Ho Chi Minh worked in the kitchens of Drayton Court Hotel in 1914?
We’ve also been given two wonderful historic photographs by Minoo, who is celebrating 40 years on The Avenue this year. They offer a lovely glimpse into the area's past and the people who have helped make it what it is today.
Eat, drink and connect
There’s plenty to tempt you in our food and lifestyle pages too.
We’ve got networking inspiration, beautiful brunches at Fuse, sumptuous steak at Steak on the Green and two delicious autumnal recipes from local chefs - perfect for those cooler evenings ahead.
A new home for Ealing Living
And finally, there’s a little update from me.
I’m writing this from my new office at Mode in Acton, where I’ve very happily taken up residence in their fantastic work hub.
With a gym, swimming pool and a great workspace, it’s proving to be a rather lovely new home for Ealing Living. You can find out more about Mode and why I’ve made the move in the latest issue.
